Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Synapspace, a coaching platform for mentors and their students available on the web and as a mobile app. Synapspace is operated by Ap2 Squared SL ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using Synapspace you agree to these Terms.

1. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Mentors may create accounts on behalf of their students; those students are responsible for their own use once they receive access.

2. Acceptable use

You agree to use Synapspace lawfully and not to misuse the service, including by uploading unlawful content, infringing others' rights, attempting to disrupt the service, or gaining unauthorised access to other accounts or data.

3. Your content

You retain ownership of the content you create (modules, lessons, notes, messages and other materials). You grant us a limited licence to host and process that content solely to operate the service for you. You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to any content you upload.

4. Subscriptions and payments

Mentor workspaces require a paid subscription, offered on a monthly or yearly basis with a free trial as described at checkout. Payments are processed by Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the current billing period. Student accounts are free.

5. Cancellation and deletion

You may stop using Synapspace at any time. You can permanently delete your account and associated data from within the app (Settings → Delete account for mentors, Profile → Delete account for students). Deleting a mentor account also removes that mentor's workspace and its content.

6. Service availability

We work to keep Synapspace available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may modify, suspend or discontinue features from time to time.

7. Disclaimer

Synapspace is a tool to help mentors organise coaching. It is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. It does not provide medical, legal, financial or other professional advice, and we are not responsible for the coaching content mentors create or deliver.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for loss of data or profits, arising from your use of the service.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we reasonably believe pose a risk to the service or other users.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
