Privacy Policy

Synapspace ("we", "us", "our") provides a coaching platform for mentors and their students, available on the web and as a mobile app. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, how we use it, and the rights you have. By creating an account or using Synapspace you agree to this policy.

1. Who we are

Synapspace is operated by Ap2 Squared SL. For any privacy question or request you can contact us at hello@synapspace.app.

2. Information we collect

• Account information — your name, email address and password (passwords are stored securely by our authentication provider and are never visible to us).
• Content you create — coaching modules, lessons, notes, progress, messages and scheduled sessions.
• Usage data — basic technical information needed to run the service (for example device and log data).
• Payment data — subscriptions are handled by our payment processor Stripe. We never receive or store your full card details.

3. How we use your information

• To provide and operate the Synapspace platform and your workspace.
• To authenticate you and keep your account secure.
• To deliver content between a mentor and their students.
• To process subscriptions and manage access.
• To communicate important service information to you.

4. How we store and protect data

Your data is stored using Google Firebase (authentication and Firestore database) with access controlled by security rules. We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, loss or misuse.

5. Sharing of data

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with the service providers required to operate Synapspace — currently Google Firebase (hosting and database) and Stripe (payments) — and only to the extent necessary. If you join a mentor's workspace, the content you create there (progress, notes, messages) is visible to that mentor.

6. Your rights

You can access, correct or delete your data at any time. You can permanently delete your account and all associated data directly inside the app (Settings → Delete account for mentors, Profile → Delete account for students). Deleting your account removes your profile, content and related records. You may also contact us at hello@synapspace.app to exercise any of your rights.

7. Data retention

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, the associated data is removed from our systems.

8. Children

Synapspace is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
